Simple Living Solutions offers Consumer Directed Services (CDS) contracted through the state of Missouri. We help you access your Medicaid to hire and pay for the caregiver that works best for you. All of your services in your home are FREE to you if you have Missouri Medicaid.  You choose the caregiver who fit your values and who meets your personal needs comfortably. It can be a family member (not a spouse or guardian), a neighbor, a friend or we can help you learn how to recruit and hire someone.

This service may be right for you:

          - If you qualify for Medicaid/Missouri Health Net.

          - If you have a physical disability or difficulty taking care of needs due to aging.

          - If you need help with things like laundry, dishes, taking a shower, cooking, keeping your house tidy, grocery shopping or personal care.

 

Who qualifies as a caregiver?
Simple Living Solutions will help you learn how to choose the right caregiver. Once you have chosen a caregiver, they will be asked to fill out an application provided by Simple Living Solutions. The caregiver must pass a background check and be able to work in the United States. Caregivers must be at least 18 years of age and cannot be a spouse…but they can be someone you know, family or a friend.
